And we know that the picture in her heart-shaped locket is far from an animate object Big grey eyes opened to their widest extend gazed around at their owner's surroundings. Tiny little buildings dotted the street here and there, and a few rocks littered the dirt beside the road, but otherwise, everything was dull and organized. Very plain, nothing to out of the ordinary. Well, that was no fun. Honestly. If she was going to go to the pain of getting out of her own little village to come and see new things, there might as well be at least something of remote interest around! Isadora gave one last giant blink, before returning her eyes to their normal half-lidded look. There was nothing to see here anyways.
Izzy had just been so bored the other day, lying around doing nothing, until an idea had struck her; why didn't she take a leaf out of her cousin's book and do a bit of travelling of her own? She had mulled the idea over for a while, just to be more time consuming, before finally deciding that she should go visit some other place. And finally, after hours of travel, she had arrived at a tiny dusty old village. What a waste of a day. A small frown creased the grey-haired girl's face as she contemplated her surroundings again. No, there most certainly wouldn't be anything to do here. But Izzy needed to be entertained. And if nothing about her surroundings was interesting, then she would just have to create her own amusement. That's right; what Izzy needed was a toy.
And by toy, of course, she meant a person, not a little doll or a board game. Humans were much better than those by far. They had their own thoughts and feelings, but were easily manipulated and coerced. There was just something about convincing people to do what she wanted and playing with them that gave Izzy a warm feeling inside that throwing around dolls had never accomplished. Izzy needed a person to cure her boredom, some temporary toy she could use until she was tired of it and then discard it without a second thought. Few things were important to Izzy, and ensuring total strangers' happiness was not one of them. She didn't care if she ruined lives with her carelessly cold meddling. What did it matter to Isa? Nothing. It didn't even affect her at all.
The girl turned her head around, scanning the streets for a person who could catch and hold her fancy, if only for a few short hours. Izzy didn't have a particular image in mind, that's how bored she was. Anyone would do, as long as she could twist them around to her delight. Perhaps a girl.....she was in the mood to toy with a girl today. Having just spent a whole day with her cousin had cured her of her desire to have a male as a toy for a while. Yes, a female would do very nicely indeed. Now, where would she find one?

Luckily for Isadora, such a girl happened to pass by. It was Adriel, a young girl who lived by herself nearby, and unluckily for her, she was exactly what Isadora was looking for at the moment. She was wearing a basic outfit, consisting of loose dress that went down to her knees and little else. Of course, she was wearing panties...even if her dress was long enough that few things short of someone coming up behind her and lifting it would reveal anything, she wasn't brave enough to go commando. She carried a medium-sized basket in her arms, filled with what seemed to be some freshly caught fish and fruit she bought in the village.
As it turned out, Adriel actually lived near here...not actually in the village, but by herself in the outskirts of the forest. It wasn't as though she was a wild child or anything like that though. She went into town enough times to at least keep up with civilization, she just preferred the solitude. However, she found herself away from home a lot more than she used to be. It was just recently that she came out of hiding and began making an effort to interact with others...outside of buying and selling food and supplies, of course. In this short time, she found that she enjoys helping others, no matter how trivial it was. Of course, she was in her own world at the moment, and thus didn't notice the Aerokinetic in the street as she walked right into her.
The impact of bumping into her, combined with the sudden shock, caused her to stumble back a bit, nearly dropping her supplies. She managed to regain her balance, however, and was able to save her food, though the contents did get a bit jumbled up. Letting out a soft sigh of relief, she immediately looked in Isadora's direction "I-I'm so sorry! I...um...I wasn't paying attention to where I was going...I...I hope you weren't hurt..." Though her words were genuine, her voice reflected how awkward she was when it came to dealing with others. She was very sheltered, but not in the same way as a rich girl or a princess. As she got a good look at Isadora, she quickly came to realize that she was actually rather pretty, and, as such, she couldn't help but blush a bit as she stood there, feeling incredibly awkward. At the moment, all she could do was hope she wasn't angry with her.

And we know that the picture in her heart-shaped locket is far from an animate object Now, imagine Izzy's surprise when someone bumped in to her. It wasn't a thing that happened frequently. Good thing she wasn't some stuck up pain in the ass whiner who complained about everything. No, she was far from that. So instead of huffing and stomping off, the girl turned around with her traditional sleepy smile pasted to her face, which quickly became one of genuine warmth- well, as genuine as someone like Isadora could get- when she got a good look at the person who had accidentally walked in to her. Young, female, and shy-looking, she perfectly fit Izzy's idea of an ideal playmate of the day to a 'T'. Oh, and she was cute too, in a timid kind of way. Oh, this would be fun, yes it would.
Izzy gave the girl a dazzling smile and tilted her head to furtively continue observing her new prey. In addition to being young and awkward-sounding, she was carrying a basket, presumably with food inside. Isa caught a whiff of fish which confirmed her suspicions. The girl's cheeks had a bit of a red tinge to them, a hint of a blush that made the grey-haired girl's smile grow wider. How cute! She shook her head slowly in response to the other's stammering sentences. "Oh, I'm quite alright, dearest, no need to make ammends," Izzy was once again demonstrating her strange use of pet names for random people. If she knew them, then it was nicknames, but if not, she would make up her own. 'Dearest' 'Dear' and 'Love' were some of her favorites.
Izzy wasn't about to let a prime specimen like this person get away from her that easily. She stuck out her hand in front of her in a friendly gesture. "I'm Isadora~," she sang out in a coy tone. "What's your name?" Even if the girl didn't tell her, Izzy would find out somehow. She had her ways, even though privately she knew she would probably forget it within a week or two. It wasn't her fault, she just had trouble remembering insignifigant names, and she toyed with so many it was a real strain attempting to memorize them all. So she didn't. Instead, if there was a need to recall someone, the girl went by physical descriptions, and even those she had a hard time remembering. It was hard, having to need to be continuously occupied by people. Sometimes Izzy wondered how she managed, she really did.

She let out a sigh of relief upon realizing that Isadora wasn't upset with her, which lifted a huge weight off her shoulders. The girl was awkward enough as it was, having someone angry at her because she wasn't paying attention to where she was going would not have helped. Try as she might, she had difficulty communicating with others, and usually limited conversations to asking someone if they needed help or buying/trading/selling. And even then, her difficulty with numbers made the latter very difficult for her. More often than not, she'd end up overpaying because she can't count money properly, though there were a few who had the decency to help her count the proper amount. Regardless, she, though poor, was well off enough that she wasn't in total poverty. She had all her basic needs...food, water, a roof over her head, and a place to bathe.
For the moment, she continued to look at Isadora, her face turning a slightly deeper shade of red with each passing second. She had always preferred women over men, finding woman to be attractive while men never really caught her interest, though she never really gave much thought to it beyond that. Either way, Isadora was possibly the prettiest girl she had seen, and it was awakening feelings from within her that she had never felt before...especially when she smiled the way she did. It was more than the usual awkwardness she felt when meeting someone for the first time...yet she couldn't quite explain it. She just found herself suddenly interested in this girl, which only seemed to make her feel even more awkward. It took a moment for her words to register, but once they did, she nodded in response "I-I'm Adriel Sorano...I...um...it's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Isadora..." It wasn't until after she introduced herself that she noticed Isadora's extended hand, which she quickly and awkwardly grabbed for a hand shake.
(ugh, not my best, but it's better than nothing x.x;)

And we know that the picture in her heart-shaped locket is far from an animate object This young girl really did seem to strike Izzy as the shy, uncertain type as she took Izzy's hand with her own in a clumsy manner. Oh well, that was no matter. If anything, it made her an even more valuable plaything to the grey-haired girl. The hesitant types were always the most fun to confuse, and Isadora intended to have the most fun she could have with this Adriel Sorano. Smiling yet another soft grin, she clasped Adriel's hands with both of her own slender palms. "Oh, Adriel, no need to call me Miss. I'm just Isadora, but my friends call me Izzy. You can too," Friends? That word had felt a bit funny coming out of her mouth. She didn't have friends, just playthings who had managed to keep her interest. Though, if she were to have any friends, she supposed her cousins would be one. She was most terribly fond of her family.
Was the child still blushing? (Izzy called everyone children, even if they were older than her) Yes, yes she was. Red was still painted on her cheeks in a most endearing manner. Isadora couldn't help but take one hand away from her and Adriel's 'handshake' and pat the other girl on the cheek. "So cute!" she sang out happily, before taking her hand- both her hands- away from Adriel and stepping back to contemplate the dark haired girl. Now, what could she do with her, let Isadora think.......well, maybe it would be best to just accompany the other girl along for now, and just play with her whenever she felt like it. Even though the two had just met, Izzy was already treating Adriel like a long-lost friend to whom she had been very close to, who wouldn't mind if she followed her at all. But the fact was, Izzy would chase after Adriel even if the girl didn't want her to come with her to wherever she was going (home, presumably; she looked like she was done her shopping) Izzy wasn't about to let a treat like this slip through her fingers.
Nonetheless, for politeness' sake, Isadora didn't voice any of this aloud, Instead, she merely threw her hair over her shoulder and opened her mouth to speak. "Here, dearest," Izzy said, moving forwards once again and attempting to slip the basket of the other's arm. "Let me carry this. It's the least I can do for bumping in to you," She was just going to ignore the fact that it had been the other way aroud, that Adriel had bumped in to her. This way, this gave her an excuse to walk around with her new plaything and test her out. She was just cleverly disguising her intentions with a polite demand.

Adriel was pretty distracted throughout the conversation, and it was fairly obvious. However, she still managed to catch most of what Isadora had said to her, and she nodded when the older woman insisted she called her Izzy "Oh...s-sorry...". She really was a nervous wreck. Not only was she not used to speaking to people in general, but she never realized how shy she was around pretty girls as well. Her feelings and emotions were almost too obvious...she was already greatly attracted to Isadora.
Naturally, it didn't help when she reached a hand out to stroke her cheek and proceed to exclaim how cute she was, which only made her face turn even redder than it already was. She wasn't used to such a compliment, and it was almost overwhelming "I-I'm...n-not anything special! R-really!" Everything seemed like a blur for a moment...and yet, she couldn't exactly say she wasn't enjoying the attention. As awkward as it made her feel, she liked speaking to someone, even if they had met completely by accident.
When Isadora offered to take the basket to make up for bumping into her, Adriel was noticeably confused for a moment. She was pretty sure that it was the other way around...that she had bumped into Isadora. But, she complied without a second thought, smiling softly. "Th-thank you...my house isn't too far away. I-it's this way." She quietly began walking in a direction outside of town, looking back every now and again to see if Isadora was following her
