ALL SPINS OUT OF CONTROL.wonder what's next for heart and soul, nothing i earned can save me now. hear in what may be my final hour.
❚ words: 1180 ❚ artist: anberlin ❚ tags: toshiko, jordyn, open SOCIAL FUNCTIONS WERE MEANT TO be without concern, it was meant to be fun and free, and basically, an underline of a ' good time '—but that was rarely ever the case in any royal invitation. People watched from the corner of eyes, waiting for mistakes to happen, waiting for the next hot gossip to give birth; no one, none of the noble bloods, were allowed to rest completely easy when there existed much more to lose than a mere name, status. Although the five current heads were known political figures, often discussing matters and problems to settle relations between islands, they were very much similar to celebrities—it was unbearably hard to escape a week without mention of any of them, and usually, what was heard was never dabbled in positivity; there was always something riddled in contempt, especially when it came to his uncle's direction of handling affairs.
Since young, Azure had been urged to learn from the older Ramsey, or maybe not quite ' learn ', but to be taken care of while his parents hopped from city to city as diplomats. As a single child, the only familiar faces that had surrounded him were of house-keepers and visiting family friends—days with Eli, however, were different, more lively, and not as empty; it had been through Eli where he had been taught the facets of ending matters with violence—and it had only been once that the youth had punched someone in the mouth. Of course, one servant had seen his atrocious deed and rapidly dragged him away before anyone could recognize the noble child's profile; that afternoon, hours and hours of scolding bled into his ears, forbidding him to ever accept the methods of physical aggression. Violence was bad. Blood was bad. Eli was bad. But he didn't really care—"Brother Eli" knew how to live.
The nineteen year-old couldn't recall the moment when he had stopped referring to the Ramsey head as ' brother ', opting for the more respectful title of ' uncle ', but he supposed it just became like that when he had witnessed the plenitude of tasks a leader had no choice but to go through. Uncle Eli simply appeared a lot older, no longer free to collide into chaos without major consequences. In the position of a head, everything mattered—people relied on such a role to obtain what they wanted, people came for requests for personal problems, and so many minor details that couldn't go amiss. He had seen advisors attempting to strap his older relative into a chair, attempting to have him read documents and contracts littered in an infinite amount of text before near deadlines. Whenever most of the Ramsey residents were out on business trips, Azure took the liberty to sneak into his uncle's office, diving through files to complete untouched piles; he taught himself to forge signatures—it saved time and lessened work for the head. Nobody noticed, and if anyone did, he would have considered his entirety screwed.
Gasps fluttered into the room, veiling the silencing chatters as multiple heads turned behind the blue-tufted youth; naturally, he followed their gaze, only to spot a certain Wilson lady tumble forward. Most stood and stared, none bothered to budge to leap after the dear woman, and albeit he, too, was guilty of doing nothing, he was far too of a distance to react in time—summoning water to cushion her drop was like taking a splash into a pool, and was far more disastrous than taking a measly fall. Servants were nearby, and yet, they hadn't even extended their reaches to her, too absorbed in shock with their platters of food; it seemed as if they were more scared of messing up their services than not rescuing the pretty princess. Luckily, but also unexpectedly, the damn silver fox blocked the aero beauty from kissing the floor—and after a couple of seconds, there were even some claps in cheer for the hero. Nevertheless, he remained skeptical—had this been all part of a script..? The Wilson's, for all he had cared, were flashy; everything had ' oomph '—and if anything happened to acquire the attention of guests, it wouldn't have been surprising if it was a mere show.
Electric blue capsules fixed onto the squinty-eyed man who had begun moving into the direction of where the phone-wielding butler had disappeared to, and automatically, Azure thought—' shit, no '. "Pardon me for a moment,"
he remarked toward the blonde maiden, disguising his relatively disgusted mask with a weak smile, as he whipped his attention to the mischievous host—alas, how should he ever forget what had been told to him not too long after his arrival? "It's not your night." And as much as he denied it, it was becoming truer and truer, for he felt himself being jerked back by the pull of his skull—as a reflex, his hand became colder, attracting growing particles of ice around his fingers, molding itself into a sharpened blade before it immediately deteriorated upon sight of the rude figure; it was Toshiko, but more importantly, he had lost sight of Zephyr. Inside, he fumed. "What is it ?" dully spatted the heir, glancing at the girl whose hold was still connected to a handful of his hair, which he couldn't fathom to understand why she hadn't released. And there it was, ' Edmund '. He twitched a frown. Zephyr had deemed him so, more with the intention of annoying rather than out of pure, innocent accident; that, Azure was able to ignore because the aerokinetic had a knack in pushing all the wrong buttons—he grew used to expecting it, but for a friend to carelessly declare that? Beyond agitating. Still, he returned the sick-humored smile of the younger girl with a cold, mocking one of his own and draped an arm over her thin shoulders, moving her forward to stand next to him as he pressed his lips close to her ears, whispering under his icy breath , "Ah, I wonder how you'd know what my secret 'pleasures' are, Miss Toshiko Yuzuru ," Pulling away, he continued, untangling the female aquakinetic's fingers from his [sore] cranium—frustrated to know he had permitted for the twisted air-user to leave his watch; frustrated to know he had been halted from his chase , "Have you been watching me while I was not looking ?" Regardless, what had been done was done; he didn't want anyone, especially Toshiko, to become aware of his secretly irritated state. "Don't mind her, it's Azure," was what he had said before removing his hand from his companion's slender appendage. Stealing a quick glance to the side, he noticed Zephyr popping out of the crowd of various colors; what a suspicious man, that joker. Near the so-called ' joker ' had been another blonde, one that had a dignifying presence in comparison to most other ladies that had begun dragging their dance partners into the center of the ballroom. Even if the nameless ' blonde number two ' simply stood and was compared to the twirlings of other women, she definitely harnessed a graceful air unsurpassed. Zephyr's sister. Post by DANI WILSON on Sept 11, 2010 16:07:30 GMT -5
The girl landed into the arms of a man and she didn't even know who it was since her eyes closed in instinct and preparation for the impact but her muscles seemed to soften once she realized that the THUD! she was expecting was no more. Her eyes opened and looked up at her 'savior' who was also her cousin. Zephyr Wilson. The first son of the oh-so important Wilson family. Heh, but for a few seconds there.. He was.. Gentle..
Immediately, a smile came onto the girl's face as she was set down by her knight in shining armor and was warned yet again.
"Dani, you should be careful there."
Of course, a ton of other people warned her the same thing over and over again. Would she learn her lesson? Hahaha. No. She won't. No matter how many times this goes on, she will NEVER learn her lesson.
Then again, it IS Dani Wilson..
She nodded and watched him scatter off, not knowing what happened at all. Sighing, she walked around the room saying 'Hi' to normal people, acting as if nothing happened at all.
She skipped around and soon noticed another Wilson.. Namely, Alice. Giggling, she skipped over and waved at the girl.
"Well, hiya~"
She didn't really know why, but she can tell that Alice was sort of angry or, in other words, pissed off at something. Her green-ish hair fell down as her hair tie was removed, unveiling her long, waist long hair that was curled towards the end.
"...Is something wrong?"

( flames to dust , lovers to friends )WHY MUST ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END ?- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - He hated parties like this, so why was he here? One, because his family had contacted him and said that they would cut off the funds for his show if he didn't go, so he was forced to go. It was like holding a gun to his head. He couldn't fund himself, that was for damn sure. Fuck, he just even needed to pay the other families to be able to air. He probably should have originally considered coming out of gratitude, but he hadn't even thought of that. Why should he have to thank the assholes who threatened to shut him off at every little thing he said that they didn't like. But, because of the events that led up to him having no choice but coming, he was here.
So he entered "fashionably" late, decked in a tight pair of cargo pants and a slim vest over a button-up. No, not formal. In fact, he doubted that he had anything that even looked slightly like a tux in his vast closet. He didn't give a shit though. Even if this party was formal, he'd come in here wearing the same stuff that he was wearing now. If they didn't like it, they could kick him out. It didn't matter either way to him. Isaac Alexii stepped around the little crowd that had appeared and idly made his way towards the snack area, only to notice one face that he really really didn't want to fucking see, even though he knew that the man had started this party.
Zephyr Wilson. He could spot that annoyingly chipper smile from miles away. He stepped back almost unconsciously, reaching up and tugging his hair over his eyes as much as they could. He knew that he would probably get spotted because of that very same hair, but he would do anything in his power to not be noticed by him or anyone high-class from the families. He just didn't want to deal with that drama at the moment.
Sucked for him, though, considering once he looked around he noticed that there was more than just Zephyr standing near that table. His heart pounded for a moment before he turned around and walked straight for the wall, putting a hand on it and spinning around, keeping his hand on it so it slid behind his back. The position he was in was almost timid, but he was far from it. It wasn't that he was necessarily scared to meet all these people, he just didn't want to. So, he moved his eyes from the group, hoping that they wouldn't notice him and looked up and around the room that they sat in.
How funny would it be to blast some dubstep in the middle of this boring piece of shit? His malicious side started to come out a little more and a smile tilted at his lips. Now that would be fun. He did have external stereos in his car and he could easily hook up something that could work. His hands slid against themselves as he expanded his senses and listened to the waves that filtered through his head. His favorite dubstep station was playing nice and loud. He was very tempted to do what he just thought of. Nah, he wouldn't... unless he was tempted even more by a certain annoying asshole. Isaac's tongue slipped along his lips almost as if in anticipation. He chuckled softly at his own thoughts and slid a long fingered hand against the back of his neck.
Maybe this party wouldn't be so bad if he could go a little buckwilde...

I might stay up until the a.m.Words: 413 || Listening to: House Party 3oh!3
Jordyn simply smiled at the Azure cutely, ”Ah, I’m entirely free this evening and I wouldn’t mind spending time with you and your friend.” He was glad that he wasn’t going to be alone this evening and actually have people around his age or someone close to talk to. ”It’s a pleasure to meet the Ramsey’s first son.” The boy spoke lightly, ”My name is Jordyn Massarotti.” The name flowed flawlessly through his lips curious to see if anyone would react to the familiarity of the name. How many would catch on that he was indeed a first son as well. Honestly, he didn’t care, but it was fun to see other’s reactions to his appearance.
Drawing himself out of the daze, the boy followed the other’s pointing finger toward a young female in black. How depressing, it’s a party and she’s come dressed for a funeral practically. Although, Jordyn wasn’t doing to be entirely rude; well, he wasn’t going to voice anything out loud. Before he could introduce himself to the female who suddenly approached them out of the blue, the boy giggled lightly. They seemed to be rather close despite how Azure seemed to act. He couldn’t help, but be a little curious about these two really.
Jordyn’s attention seemed to be drawn to so many things that were happening amongst the party, especially the host of it all. Even at his age, the youngster couldn’t help, but wonder what exactly the first Wilson son was. He held a mysterious air around him, almost inhuman in a way. The blonde knew that was a terrible accusation to come up with, but he couldn’t help it at all. A voice broke his train of thought as he noticed a blonde figure coming to Zephyr’s side. Searching through his mind of all the people he had met so far, the boy knew that was his sister. She was always so quiet and beautiful like a doll, but when she did speak…her tongue was that of a devil; silently taking note that he should keep his distance from her.
Looking back at the company that had already surrounded him, Jordyn extended a slim hand out toward the one named Toshiko. ”Excuse my rudeness, my name is Jordyn Massarotti.” Rosy lips repeated once more, ”That is a lovely outfit you have on by the way. Very fitting.” Speaking as honestly as possible; a small giggle escaped from his lips as he slightly covered his mouth.

better hang on if you're taggin' along, 'cause we'll be doin' this 'till six
in the morning. ♥ Toshiko expected a more playful response, like how she'd tease Azure from time to time and he'd reply with the same taunting manner, which he did, but she'd easily sensed his especially irritated tone. Toshiko blinked, glancing at him with a briefly curious look before his expression faded. She began to suspect she'd pushed him too far, calling him by the particular name that she knew all too well how much he disliked. But surely he'd had a more specific reason for getting so upset. But of course he quickly tried hiding the look that gave away his aggravation. Did he really expect for her not to be able to realize it when they'd known eachother so long? It was still a mystery though as to what made him so angry..
"Ah, I wonder how you'd know what my secret 'pleasures' are, Miss Toshiko Yuzuru." Azure spoke in a hushed tone as he pulled her forward with his arm wrapped around her to face the blonde being in front of him. Toshiko narrowed her eyes. "Because I read your diary," she whispered back sarcastically before looking towards the girl who'd introduced herself. "Excuse my rudeness, my name is Jordyn Massarotti." Toshiko's eyes flashed with interest at the mentioning of the well-known last name of 'Massarotti'. Ohh, so the girl was of the popular Massarotti family? She wondered if Azure was familiar with this Jordyn because of this. "That is a lovely outfit you have on by the way. Very fitting." At the assumed compliment that came from Jordyn, Toshiko assured herself that the girl seemed pretty decent enough to somehow befriend. But then came the giggle that followed said comment.
...Eh? Toshiko immediately took this as a taunting laugh, as if the blonde was humored by what she had just said. A fake smile came across Toshiko's face and she reluctantly reached out the recently released hand and gripped the blonde's hand in return."Eheh... Thank youu~. I'm Toshiko.." she replied with odd politeness. It seemed to reveal how annoyed she felt by the confrontation. Well, she was quite a picky person when it came to deciding whether or not her company was one she'd rather participate with.
Toshiko took back her hand and returned it to her side and her eyes scanned over the Massorotti girl before them. She did seem the type to look lowly on commoners and their fashion, her being more fortunate and having access to perhaps much better variety of clothing. Though Toshiko may have been too quickly to judge her. She decided to follow a different first impression depending on whatever the girl were to do next.
"So... How is it going in the oh so magnificent clan life~?" Toshiko asked in attempt to make conversation. She shot a glance at Azure beside her with a smirk. It was as if she were teasing him how she could have just as easily asked him but never seemed to bother. "I know I'd love to be in one of those giant houses~."
